Bill it looks to have some spot welds holding it to the door. Have trouble seeing as I gotta figure out how to get the windows out w/o a switch.

If you are thinking about lightweighing the car, try to manufacture fiberglass doors instead. all rally cars have fiberglass trunks, hoods, doors.... don't damage your original parts... that's what I advise people to do, and that's what I am doing to my hood...
