There are no NEW rear speaker grilles left, either gray or beige. They have been out of production and NLA for about 12 years. When i bought the very last set of beige grilles back in 2006, I had to get them straight from Japan. The gray ones were gone almost 2 years earlier.

The problem lies with the fact that in their mounting position on the rear deck, they get constant heat and the effects of damaging UV rays from the sun, which dries them out, makes them brittle and crack. Add in the vibration from the bass speakers and you have a recipe for failure.

The beige ones are more fragile than the gray ones because the bronze glass passes more UV light.

Some members have glued them together, covered them completely by stretching speaker fabric over the entire grille and then reinstalling them.

Salvage yards or cars being parted out may be the only options. Southern and southwestern cars have gotten more sun, but are more likely to have dark tinted windows to minimize sun damage
