CEL #56 says "EGR valve stuck open/closed". I've taken the whole EGR system apart and cleaned things out, there was a lot of carbon build up. Everything seems to work properly but i still get the CEL #56 (even after resetting). The only thing i can think of is the EGR solenoid. Annoyingly enough this is located under the intake between the block and the intake!!! GRRRR .... I'd like to meet the mofo that designed this !!!! Has anybody removed this and tested it ? If so any pointers on how ?
I'd rather not take the whole intake manifold off !!! And yes i was able to remove the EGR components without taken the manifold off !!!
