Got some disturbing mystery sounds.

Most obvious is when I shift my stock tranny into reverse and let off the brake, it makes a pretty loud CLINK! sound.

I am now also noticing some clicking noises when driving occasionally that seem to be coming from under there in the tranny area. I just had the big middle heat shield removed and all the remaining ones tightened a few weeks ago which fixed a bigger clanking sound I was having, so now I hear this.

The tranny also will do a disturbing hesitate-than-jump into the next gear thing occasionally - is this a "flare"?
