There are two ratios that determine the engine to drive wheel ratio. First is the transmission, ours will have four ratios. IIRC, the first two are underdrive, third gear is 1:1 and fourth is overdriven.
This will determine the speed of the propeller shaft to the rear and the shaft inside the transmission that drives the front diff.
The final drive is the ratio of those two shafts to the axles.
Somewhere on this site is a list of the 1-4 gear ratios for the US transmissions.
Just to clarify;
Engine RPM - 2000
4th gear ratio 1 : 1.15 (just a guess)
Prop shaft RPM - 2300
FD ratio - 3.545 : 1
Axle/wheel RPM - 649
