Thanks for the explanation. So chances are good the flex plate will fail at every SVX sooner or later.
Without welding I cannot see how the reinforcement plate can prevent the crack (since it occures at about the outer diameter of the reinforcement plate).
In consequence why to buy a new one when replacing the cracked flex plate?
