As an interesting aside (and perhaps portend of the future for the SVX
), I just last week read in a magazine (Hemmings Exotic Cars, I think) where a fellow was writing in asking for info on a windshield for a 1997 300 ZX. He could not find one anywhere in the US. The magazine answered that he was correct. They too tried to find one, but there were none to be had - OEM or aftermarket. Interestingly also was the fact that apparently the 2 plus 2 TAKES A DIFFERENT WINDSHIELD! I am afraid we are close to not having any more OEM, but thankfully, there are still some aftermarket one available ...... That 10 years to manufacture parts is correct, but after 10 years ..... if it won't make a profit, then they won't ...
