All I know is that I bought one for my car, and it was like, $12 with shipping. Canister-type filter. Hose. Hardware. Are you saying that subaruparts.com won't sell you this kit without first running your VIN to see if you have one in place? I'm not trying to be contrary; just to figure-out what's what.
