The only documented EG 33 Impreza I have see so far came from Australia. I don't know of one done in the US, but please jump in and correct me if I am wrong.

There was a guy here on the forums who did it. It was a red Impreza, I forgot his name though. 
Also, EFI Logic's EG33 powered GC6.
