I just finished a rear strut mod using some Strong Arm gas shocks from Autozone. I took pics along the way and have a write up ready to go. Befor I do - my question to all - how do stock struts behave when new (or in good condition?) I have a 92 with a wing and my original weak struts would not hold the trunk open on a windy day. I was always afraid of it slamming on my (or my kids' ) hands. The mod (adapting new Strong Arms) is a huge improvement, but because of the weight of the wing, the trunk won't open on its own power like the hood does with good struts. If that's normal, I'll finish the write up and post it.
