A genral rule of thumb for auto makers is for the car to be able to go 300 miles on a tank of gas. If the car gets crappier gas milege, they give it a bigger tank to compensate. If your getting less than 300 miles for a full tank of gas , you are either driving way aggressivly, in the city , in inclimate weather (high / low altitudes extream cold, that kinda thing) of a combination of the three
My gas gauge is broke, so I always fill up around 250 miles or so. Usually takes 11-13 gallons of gas. On average, I get between 19 - 23 miles per gallon. I drive medium aggressivly in light traffic and mild cold. Nothing really out of the ordinary
