Better peepers than mine

From the Wind Point Lighthouse you can see the 35th richest guy in the country's house. Of course it's only two doors away. But you can't see my house only two blocks away. Not unless you cut down a bunch of trees. But the light does shine in the trees in my back yard at night. "Look! There it goes again!" Every 20 seconds. It's a pretty cool thing but there have been nights I couldn't sleep because the noise from the waves was so loud. Because the water is so shallow (the reason for the lighthouse!) the waves sometimes start to break as much as a 1/2 mile of shore and roll all the way in. It really is quite a racket but soothing at the same time. I'd have a hard time moving someplace else.
