Windshield.
If there is anything that will take these cars off the road it is this. They are no longer available from Subaru 
Chinese windshields are available but the integral rubber mouldings are not. They butt against the window moulding to form a water and airtight seal.
Used windshields can be found in salvage yards, but the rubber mouldings deteriorate and become more brittle with every passing year and become almost impossible to remove without damage.

I've already replaced radiator, shocks, alternator, timing belt, valve covers, MAF (and I think I remember replacing the water pump).
I'm planning on keeping mine for another 20 years.
