after doing all my connections I surrounded all open metal with electrical tape... I'm not that much of a newb... come on guys I did my own wiring for the nss bypass for the 5spd. I see what you guys are saying about a dedicated line... would be a good idea. I have a test light just was too damn lazy to use it as I was trying to wire these right before I left and my engine died so, I was more worried about that than the neons.... but now that the new engine is in and I'm going home in a week or so I figured I'd try and get them working. Maybe I will just try and find a good spot to run the cables through and get a good connection to the battery, but how do I connect a cable directly to the battery???
