True. Where I live NOW near Las Vegas is 7500 feet, but.........I bought my first SVX in Atlanta, GA and put 150,000 miles on it while living in that area. My granddaughter now owns it and it has over 200,000 miles on it and has ONLY burned low octane fuel its entire life. Still runs like a champ. My dau, son and nephews run only low octane, as well, and no one is having any problems and get great gas mileage for the engine HP and weight of car. Of course, much better on the road than around town. We are talking about 9 running cars in the family, 6 of which are daily drivers.
