As you probably know, you can get paint matched spray cans for about $30 online. And you also probably know that most local auto stores carry touch up spray paint in a variety of colors for about $4. And you also probably know that unfortunately there is no match for our cars (The only Subaru colors I have found are white, black, and red). BUT what you probably DIDN'T know is that Duplicolor has a truck paint code 366 called director red that is an *almost* exact match for our cars. I just sprayed part of my bumper today, and this is the closest match I have found out of 5 different claret/red/purple type colors. This color is just *slightly* more red than our color using a grey primer and clear coat. I had been using a color called GM Dark Red (see the painted grill pic in my locker), but found the color to be too dark. The color that Duplicolor calls Claret is WAY too red. Right now the bumper looks kind of weird because the paint is in all different layers, and I sprayed the director red in the middle of the dark red, so I don't have an exact contrast between the stock paint and the duplicolor. That'll be fixed when I have a chance to take off the bumper to spray it.
