Start with the hoses. If your car is older, the hoses tend to get dry and crack. Consider (unless you see it dripping from the rack specifically) that it may not be a PS leak at all, but, a transmission cooler hose leak. Those hoses are also prone to failure.

The common problem with the SVX PS system is an o-ring that goes south occasionally. Go to the personal lockers link at the top of the page, then, scroll down to the "HOW TO" locker to find instructions and photos. The symptoms of this problem, however, are shuddering and noise at low speed turns (as in, when you're taking off in the parking lot).
