Re: Farm, 2011

Fired up the Cub Cadet sat for a full day of mowing. I got 90% of the grass cut. The guys got a mud bath when I burried the tractor in the front garden plot, so they went to the creek for a 'bath'. While they were there, they stacked rocks on a 'tight spot' in the creekbed, forming a dam. The hole is now about 3 feet deep. This will come in handy when the grandkids stay over this summer.

Last year, I didn't start mowing till mid may and it was so high that it took till mid june to get it knocked down.

I asked the guys to find all the stumps that they could and KILL them, so I don't hit them with the mower. A lot of the stumps are cut too low to be seen while mowing and too high to mow over without a lot of noise or damage.
ONE of these days, we are going to WORK on CARS again!
It rains almost every day I take off to go there and all saturdays but the last one. (That is why I mowed instead of working on cars)

I am having a 'BUT FIRST' spring! I want to do this, but first, I have to do that! For every 'but first' I complete, 3 others rear their ugly heads!
By the time I get the 'but firsts' completed, I forgot where I set my keys down and have to go hunting! (Or some other setback!)
