And it seems that californias 30 year rolling exemption is gone, for a while all cars over 30 years old wouldn't need to be smog checked any more, the problem isn't making them pass the snif test, but they need to have all emision controll components in place, no changing of components, but origional components are difficult to find, so keeping them legal becomes more and more difficult, I really want to "move" to Nevada or Oregon for registration and tax purposes.

CA, the privledge to earn money comes with a tax of 10% and the privledge of spending that money is taxed at 7-8.5% and gaining, the privledge of owning property is taxed, it costs $5 to drive a 2 axle auto across the golden gate bridge and last time I used the john I had to pay a "cr@p tax"... wait, all these taxes are cr@p... I think I figured that if you are self employed and earn $80,000 in CA you get to keep 35-40% after you've paid your taxes... And people wonder why jobs leave
