On the way to the supermarket this evening, the stereo started cutting out. Then I noticed the lights were getting dim. The alternator warning light on the dash isn't on, but I'm definitely lacking voltage.

I drove all the way home in darkness with the lights off, just praying that the battery would last until I got home. Fortunately we had a clear sky and a full moon tonight, but I still couldn't really see much. I did manage to get home but I don't think the car could have gone much further.
