I'd like to think it's possible, but watching so many fully electric cars that have huge promises come and go, you get discouraged. The single rear wheel, why? to be different? Except that you likely make it non-user-changable with that style.

I'd go with the Chevy Volt first.

Just because its a 3 wheeler does not mean it won't handle well....go drive a T-Rex....
And it's a 3-Wheeler because that classifies it as a Motorcycle, so it does not have to pass US Crash Tests....so it can be broght to market quicker and cheaper...

There are several new 3 wheelers in the market now just for that reason...
