update

Well, my friend dropped off the tool and it's absolutely gorgeous. I didn't measure it but it's about 3/4 to an dinch thick, 3" wide, and about 8" long. He made it out of a very strong alloy of stainless steel, I think he said 340 or something like that. I'll ask him nest time I see him. I weighed the pair of blocks on a postage scale and the total was almost 12lbs. There was only one problem with it and that was the lip to go between the 5th gear and the bearing was just a tad too thick and won't fit in there. I'm sure it will be no problem for him to fix that for me amd modify the program for any future use though.

Man, I wish all my tools were that quality and looked that good.
