Constant use of lower gears under load is about the worst - like what you would encounter on a very long autocross course or climbing a mountain at 30mph.
If an svx was driven under these conditions and the temp gauge didn't pass 180 I would guess that the gauge was installed after the coolers instead of before.

Yea thats what i was talking about...after the cooler was installed. Oh trust me i believe the temps goign over 200 without a cooler.
