The T-belt is not hard to change. Just nuts and bolts. The engine is not interference fit so you can't damage the valves if you get the timing of the belt off. The hardest part is removing the front crankshaft pulley bolt. If you don't have the four prong tool to hold the pulley you'll need something to stop the engine from turning over. You can use a strap wrench or stick something in the torque converter flex plate while loosening the bolt.

You'll save your self over $400, just the price of the belt...and your time.
