I've eaked out close to 40mpg with mixed driving on my XT6 (when it was an fwd auto). Driving 55 vs 65 would be you're biggest savings after simply keeping off the gas pedal when accelerating. Suprise suprise in a hour drive you'd only loose about 6 minutes depending on what type of driving it is in that10mph. 75 to 55 is nearly 25% for fuel econmy on average. AC on when on the highway if necessary windows open around town to 45mph. When you know you're not gonna make a light coast (I'd put it in neutral but just taking your foot of the gas with the SVX tranny would do wonders). In most states its actually illegal to turn the car off at traffic lights and that ticket would be a lot of gas. My advice on the fish and chips is to get you're lazy a$$ out of the car, walk in and get you're fix!
