Remember the Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 limited? Or the GMC Typhoon? They were beasts too. Niether lasted real long though. I think this time around will be different. I'm also interested to see if SVT will have something to throw into the ring with the Jeep SRT-8 or Trailblazer SS.
Performance trucks are returning in force. I don't know what the status is on the new lightning, but we already have the Ram SRT-10 at 500hp, and the 2007 Silverado SS will be packing 500hp, as will the 2008 Tahoe SS.
But if BEAST is the most important quality in a vehicle in your mind, then I would say
