Just a quick update, I did take the SVX by and had it inspected. Whoever told me that the CE light didn't matter was correct. The tech said that since it was OBDI that he'd have to test the emissions directly so the CE light didn't matter. He hooked up the machine, and the emissions were fine so I got my sticker.
