just an FYI
subaru dealership didn't have the link in stock and it'd take them 3 days to get me one
so I just bit the bullet and got a 14 gauge fusible wire and took some of the wires out so that it'd be the same size as the blown one(maybe a little thinner)
and tried it first with a 20amp fuse, then took it out
it's working and the alternator lights are all off
should work for a couple of days, 'til I get my legitimate part
