Egging damages in 2 ways, the egg white and yoke if not washed off quickly will damage the paint due to the acids in them, but the egg shell damages the paint upon impact, as the shell, as it crushes cuts all the way through the paint, you will see a series of "rings" around a impact site, this is done by the shell, and nothing other than a re-paint will fix that....

If it make you feel any better, my XT6, and my mother's car (was at my house while I was working on it for her) got egged a couple months ago....I was lucky with my XT6, as the impact was on hte door window, and I washed off the egg before it dried, so it didn't damage it at all...but moms car wasn't as lucky
