One more thing... when engine is running in idle can you hear ticking? Seems like this is related to rpm, when rev up you can't hear that much. Maybe valves? I don't know what is causing the ticking noise..so I will ask my mechanic friend to come over and check, and see what he wuold say... |
If it is a very quiet ticking that gets drowned out as the engine revs higher I'd say that is the normal fuel injector noise.
as far as the leaks/ smoking - benebob has the right idea. Find out where it is coming from and go from there.
