Re: Oil motor ?

I don't see a problem with it.

The manual cautions against sustained high speed driving using 5-30W. This is because it needs 40W at higher temperatures, particularly sustained high temperatures from high speed driving.

This 0-40W oil has higher specifications than the recommended grades from the '92 manual. It should be better for economy because of the low viscosity when cold and still provide high temperature protection.

If you wanted to be slavish on the manual recommendation then 5W-40W is probably the Holy Grail. Spheretech is only available in 0-40W I think, but I would not be afraid of using it.
