Hey all,
i knocked 4 teeth out in an accident when i was young(permenent teeth though) and as they all of them back in right away, one of them had started to resorb interally(internal resorbtion is waht they called it) so the root was no longer there, tooth was removed and i had a bovine implant and 2 bone graphs( ya sucks) well 5 surgeries and 3 years later, i just got my permenent procera tooth put (this is a front tooth) in on mon. When i woke on monday, i had chipped the lower left corner(outside corner) in my sleep
. They fixed it and gave me an NTI nightguard, i wore that the following night but i could not sleep with it,my whole jaw felt like it moved(along with
me lower teeth hitting my upper teeth from my jaw being stressed out from wearing the nightguard thing, also my lower teeth hurt all day from it. So since i had off work, i didnt wear the nightguard last night. I woke up at 8 am to a crack, the lower left corner broke off in the same place, the meterial they bonded on is what snapped, but it was becuase i was grinding my teeht not that it was weak(the procera may have been defective, a new one is on the way)
I was wondering if anybody with braxium(severe teeth grinding) has had anything work, also im thinking about going to the doctor to see if he has any suggestions. Off to the dentist to have my tooth fixed, again
thanks again
phil
