The 0-60 time of 6.2 for the MazdaSpeed 6 is just an estimate. Road & Track figures it'll be closer to 5.5 seconds in reality.
There have only been two full tests (w/ performance results) of the Legacy 2.5GT to date:
Road & Track 10/04
0-60mph 5.6s
0-100mph 15.5s
1/4 mile 14.3 @ 96.2mph
Car & Driver 10/04
0-60mph 5.7s
0-100mph 16.0s
1/4 mile 14.2 @ 96mph

P.S. A Legacy STI would be nice, but the current price of the 2.5GT fits perfectly into my family's budget. A $30K+ Legacy STI would not...
