Detactched retina, they said...
All that crap I had happen last dec and january of this year were the beginnings of this saga.
I am getting ready to add a new chapter to my long list of 'life's experiences'. The only thing I know fer sure is that, If I ignore it, IT WON'T fix itself! 100% of the time, it results in blindness if not corrected.
I have a co-pilot for the trip out there and a pilot to get me home.
should have a 'report' by thursday
Dr told me "NOT to do anything involving heavy lifting or strain". Yesterday, I bent a 24 in pipewrench and burned up 35 6013 welding rods repairing the tow dolly. It's a good thing that I didn't KNOW that I wasn't allowed to do that! (otherwise, I would have to haul cars on an 'unsafe' dolly!)

I'm sorry to hear about the complications. They can fix a wonderful range of things with eye surgery these days that could not be contemplated years ago. Technology is good news for eye problems.
In your case I can imagine they would "weld" your retina back in place using a laser.
I hope the report is good and they can get you sorted. Meanwhile, really, really, seriously man,
no bending, no lifting until they get you sorted.
You have got to give the medicos a chance Jerry, it's too serious to risk the loss of one eye.
I'm rootin for you.
