BTW, do you think this is the only damage this fender has sustained in the accident? I bet the rear fender is also bent somewhere in the middle. To straighten it out, the bodyworker should weld a chain to the side of the rear fender and use this device (whatchamacallit
) used to pull it to its proper place. Then you can either cut that marked part above and replace it or (preferably in my opinion) straighten it again... that depends upon labor over there
