..and originally being from Alaska, I can tell you.. 92.971% of all cars up there that last more than one winter are Subarus...

Can't throw a brick without hitting 5 of them.

I wish I could find a copy of this cartoon I once saw, before the AlCan was paved.. Showed a '70's Soobie wagon on tank treads with the caption: "I survived the AlCan!".
