Has anyone had experience with replacing the seals between the fixed glass and opening windows?? I have realised that there must be a metal bracket at the bottom of the fixed glass as the rubber seals can bubble up with rust of the metal underneath. I am wondering if the metal support brackets are replaceable or it is all an integral part of the fixed glass. Have attached photo for reference. Suggestions how to prevent from rusting further once the process has started are welcome as well.
