I know its an old thread but I wanted to post my results from the seafoam treatment.

I put half a can through each side of the TB while the car was parked and of course running. I was a little shocked with the lack of buildup being cleared. I then took the car out and for the next few miles it was like the back of my car was on fire. The amount of smoke was insane and I am glad I did this in the middle of nowhere without other cars.

The car definitely is running better. I wouldnt hesitate to say it was never done on the car before. I think I may do another pass through to see if anything was left.
