Timing belt sells for around 100.00 from subaruparts.com. You can probably get an aftermarket for around 70.00. Depending on labor costs, you might get by for around 800.00. That's why you have all the work you can have done in that area of the car, while they've got the pulley and stuff off. Save yourself the labor cost in the future.
