Significant Technical Input Registered SVX
Well....
As for who was first, I can't say that I was for sure...what I can say is that when I did mine I scoured the internet for info (not wanting to go into it blind) but found ZERO info available.....many people had stated they WANTED their SVX to be a manual, but no one had done it (or at least had not documented it, to aide others with a swap)...
So when I did mine I knew of no other one on the planet (but that doesn't mean there wasn't one), and I had to figure it all out as I went along...Trial and error, so to speak.
I had no ideal if it was going to be feasable or not when I got started...as I had done many motor/tranny swaps in the past, but only on Muscle cars, and old hot rods where computer control wasn't an issue.

The absolute lack of info on the swap is what made me do the write up for everyone to have in the first place.

I've never asked for anything, from anybody, for any help my write up may have been for others who used it...I did it to help out fellow SVXers, who (like me) were fed up with the 4EAT and wanted a manual tranny in the SVX....like Subaru SHOULD have offered in the first place.

so anyway....that's how I see it....if I wasn't the first to do it, I was the first to make a guide to doing it available for the SVX...that ought to be worth something

Good day...
