Kudos to whomever can tell me which production vehicle was the first sold in the US to have anti lock brakes as an option?

I've never had an issue with the anti lock system on my SVX but I do keep all season tires that are good in snow on it if she plays in the winter. As for driving in ice, there isn't much that'll do decent unless it weighs 20 tons and has steel between the tires and road. When the SVX came out it had a vastly superior set up to 95% of the vehicles sold since it was a 4 channel system instead of the cheaper and more common 3 channel of course though technology moves on but I'll still put my money a 72 Dodge with snows on it and an average driver from the time period in Buffalo and put him against any idiot in a Hummer. There will be no competition!!!
