yeah, if you had flud on the stick it would not go dead on you. It sounds like your pump is on its way out. I had a BMW that did the same thing....once the pump was warm it wouldnt put out enough pressure to push the clutches tight. I put a new pump in it and it was fine for another year then I sold the car. Im not sure if it is still running but I wouldnt be suprissed. But alot of the time as the pump goes you burn up your clutches because of the slippping
