Yeah Gregory's aren't bad but pricey for me. I prefer Lowe Alpine's, besides they fit my frame better. It might sound weird but you'd be smart to go to a local shop and get it fitted to ya. 99% of the world doesn't know how to adjust a pack for optimum use (including myself I found by doing the same thing at a tech day locally).
Definately get and use the cover. My 10 year old Lowe is starting to develop a mess upper pocket from sun damage.
