I'll have to post when I have more time... but the new exhaust is a definite difference. Yes, I got my SVX done on Saturday in KC while visiting Halistan.

Okay, first impressions; definitely a little louder than stock, but under 2500rpm the sound is almost definitely stock. Maybe a little low rumble that's not there with the stock exhaust. When you goose the gas there is a "hissing" noise... a slightly metallic hissing noise that's only really audible outside the car (though audible a little from inside). I suspect it's caused by the piece of flex-pipe that the mechanic (Yakov) put in the exhaust to take up stresses and strains of expansion/contraction. It's possible that a lined flex pipe might eliminate this noise making it sound almost stock.

Performance impressions; well it's hard to put numbers on it, but the car FEELS sprightlier. A little extra pickup... definitely revs higher and quicker than it did before (I don't think I ever saw 6000rpm before today in my 96), actually idles smoother... which probably confirms my suspicion that my engine was running a little rough at idle due to backpressure from a partially collapsed cat.

I'll post in a day or two once I've gotten more used to driving her.

It's also nice to have an exhaust without those bloody rattling heatshields!!!

Oh, and I have no resonator... glasspack or otherwise. It was gone long before I did this.
