Well, the Z I drove this evening is in gorgeous shape. The guy bought it new, and he's clearly taken care of it. Nearly everything works. And it talks, apparently, but I didn't do anything that might make it do so.
If I ran 2nd up above 4000RPM, 3rd would engage with a crunch. I don't know if that's a clutch adjustment that it needs or if the synchros (if it has any) are bad.
I'm really, really tempted. We'll see...
