I wouldn't take it as an indication of enthusiasm about having an SVX meet up, instead take it as a indication of the level of enthusiasm for doing meetups/travel during a pandemic.

I would love to go to Redding one year, no way am I going during a pandemic. (Even if it was in Redding California!)
