I would seriously consider the Gecko coilovers or the TSP, same coilovers but different vendor. The street versions have great spring rates for the car and the ride height can be adjusted with almost stock high as an option. I think at most 1/4” below stock ride height is doable, if your one of those that don't care for the look of lowered cars.
