The Subaru Leone came as a 2-door hardtop coupé, 3-door hatchback, 4-door sedan and a 5-door station wagon
The Subaru BRAT (Bi-drive Recreational All-terrain Transporter), was a 2 doorhad a pickup-type bed with rear- facing seats. Both used the same AWD system.

The Subaru BRAT was a coupe-utility version of the Subaru Leone, introduced in 1977. It was developed directly from the company's four-wheel drive station wagon model and was first introduced as a 1978 model.
It was following the concept of coupe utility vehicles in the U.S. such as the Chevrolet El Camino and the Ford Ranchero.
