Modifications: Permacool transmission cooler with fan that automatically turns on when main cooling fans turn on. Manual override for full-time-on installed using OEM SVX push-buttons. 10" Kicker subwoofer with amp and capacitor. Radio cage is taken out and radio is an older Impreza OEM radio. You can install your own radio. I think I have harnesses for the radio so you don't have to splice any cables.
Major service: New fuel lines coated with truck-bed liner tough surface paint, transmission flush and new filter and fluid. New Centric slotted rotors (all four) and new Centric pads (all four). New Centric brake pistons in the front brakes. New brake hoses (all four).
Engine Condition: Engine is in running condition and very strong.
Maintenance Records: Most of the work has been done by me.
Transmission condition: Transmission is good and shifts great. Permacool transmission with fan installed to keep temperature low.
Glass condition: All glass is perfect (no cracks).
Type of tire and remaining tread: Cooper 225/45/16. 95% tread left.
Type of wheels: OEM SVX
Interior condition: In good condition with some signs of wear on the leather.
Body condition: Good.
Known defects or problems: Oil leak from valve cover gasket, steering wheel pump whine and may not be working correctly, rust under the body by the passenger seat. Needs new pipe from the cats down since flange broke and a new muffler with the OEM tips if you want the full OEM look. Passenger window sometimes doesn't want to go up, but I have spare parts for the switches (I meant to fix it but never got to it).
Comments about the car: I bought this car used with 105K miles and did the maintenance myself. I found myself using it less and less and eventually let it sit for too long, although I made updates/repairs in the summer. It was my baby back in 2006 and drove it to Florida and back in 2008 without any issues (loved that trip). I got more involved with my STi, my Legacy, my Baja, and now my bimmer so it took a back seat all these years. Incredible car and way ahead of its time.
Asking price: $1,500 obo.
