Maybe you're on to it !! The CEL BTW doesn't flash when activated with IGN...just stays ON with car running. Downloading the codes gives you the flash action to read the errors. Would certainly pursue the crank sensor code...
Can Huck point towards the post talking about the Legacy part being used?
